چکیده
The Division of Biochemistry, Faculty of Chemistry, Opole University for more than 10 years has been involved in analysis of reactions catalysed by tyrosinase (monophenol oxidoreductase, L-dopa:O2, EC 1.14.18.1). This is a key enzyme in melanization process that catalyses its two first reactions: o-hydroxylation of tyrosine to 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) and oxidation of dopa to dopaquinone (Fig. 1) [1].

Reactions of Rhodospirillum rubum extract with cytochrome c and cytochrome c2.
Observations from a number of different experimental approaches have implicated cytochrome pigments in oxidation-reduction reactions resulting from the illumination of photosynthetic tissues (l-6). Possible relationships of these cytochromes to those of the respiratory chain pigments which react with oxygen in the dark have been considered. Vernon (7) isolated a soluble cytochrome in good yield...
متن کاملInvestigation of melt distribution reactions, thermobarometry and minerals chemistry of amphibols and plagioclase leucosome, melanosome and mesosome in Takab Hornblend bearing migmatites, northwestern Iran
The process of migmatitization in the Ghareh Naz has resulted in the formation of various rate of partial melting and eventually the formation of a large spectrum of metatexite and diatexite migmatites. Mineral chemistry studies by EPMA method shows that amphibole composition is magnesio-hastingsite and has a metamorphic origin and feldspar composition is andesine to oligoclase. Effective react...
متن کاملProbing enzyme-mediated oxidation reactions in crystallo*
Reaction intermediates define the chemical steps of transformation from substrates to products, and capture of intermediates along catalytic pathways remains one focal point in the studies of enzymatic mechanisms. Performing enzymatic reactions in protein single crystals has been shown to be very effective in trapping and identifying unstable intermediates. In this critical review, we provide s...
متن کاملMedication Errors Associated With Adverse Drug Reactions in Iran (2015-2017): A P-Method Approach
Medication errors are the second most common cause of adverse patient safety incidents and the single most common preventable cause of adverse events in medical practice. Given the high human fatalities and financial burden of medication errors for healthcare systems worldwide, reducing their occurrence is a global priority. Therefore, appropriate policies to reduce medication errors, using nat...
متن کاملA Kinetic Investigation into the In Situ Combustion Reactions of Iranian Heavy Oil from Kuh-E-Mond Reservoir
An efficient design of in situ combustion depends on accurate kinetic modeling of the crude oil oxidation. The kinetic triplet of the oxidation reactions of a heavy oil sample was investigated. Once the kinetic triplet is known, the kinetic equation would be deconvolved. The crude oil sample was obtained from Kuh-E-Mond reservoir, located in the southwest of Iran. The samples were analyzed usin...
